Adopt a Farm Animal Barnyard

Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Farm Animal program offers a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of farm animals saved from abuse and neglect. By adopting the entire barnyard at our New York or California sanctuary, you will have the greatest impact on the day-to-day care of more than 500 rescued animals who have found their home and healing at Farm Sanctuary. 

Your symbolic adoption comes with a digital certificate or a digital and print certificate featuring your new farm animal friends. In addition to your certificate(s), you'll receive email updates about your adoptees and become an official Farm Sanctuary member, complete with a subscription to our member magazine, Sanctuary. You will also receive special access to virtual events, and a private sanctuary tour, available within one year of sponsorship.

Our peaceful Acton sanctuary, not far from Los Angeles, is a haven for more than 100 rescued farm animals. Each one of these individuals—cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, and donkeys—depends on our dedicated team for everything they need to thrive. Your Barnyard support makes this lifelong care possible, ensuring animals like Indigo cow, saved with her mom after being born in a slaughterhouse, get nutritious food and veterinary care. And animals like Blue pig, rescued from a school agriculture program by a young student, get shelter, warm bedding, and enrichment.

Our Watkins Glen sanctuary, located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region, is 275 acres of haven for more than 500 rescued farm animals. Each one of these individuals— cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese—depends on our dedicated team for everything they need to thrive. Your Barnyard support makes this lifelong care possible, ensuring animals like Olive cow, who escaped from the dairy industry, get nutritious food and veterinary care. And Phoenix hen, saved from a massive egg farm fire, has shelter, warm bedding, and enrichment.
