Named for Hilda, Farm Sanctuary’s first rescue, the Friends of Hilda Club was established for leading members like you.
In 1986, we discovered six-month-old Hilda discarded in a stockyard “dead pile.” With her rescue, a movement began.
Hilda’s story prompted the first cruelty conviction of a U.S. stockyard and led to federal and state protections for “downed” animals. Today, her legacy lives on in all we do.
There are billions like Hilda, but because of you, there is hope.
Annual membership in our Friends of Hilda Club provides the resources critical to Farm Sanctuary’s year-round rescue, education, and advocacy work.
